Review of OHSU End of Year Crime Statistics

The crime statitistics for universities are required to be published each year per the Clery Act. Here is a quick review of the OHSU crime stats through 2022, as provided on their site here.

Most notably, we see a spike in Motor Vehicle Theft in 2022, with 25 on campus and 35 from non-campus locations:

This follows the neighborhood, state and country trends showing the spike in Motor Vehicle Theft in the past 2 years, as mentioned in my previous posts on the that category and on crime in South Portland.

The other category with notable increase in the 3 years reported is on-campus Burglary:
