Where is the Grimm Cast Now?

When Grimm premiered on NBC in 2011, it quickly became one of television’s most distinctive supernatural procedurals. Set and filmed largely in Portland, the show blended police drama with folklore and dark fantasy, building a loyal fan base over six seasons.

Although the series ended in 2017, the cast has stayed busy with new roles in television, film, and theater. Here’s a look at where the main Grimm actors are now.

David Giuntoli (Nick Burkhardt)

David played Portland detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he is a Grimm — a guardian capable of seeing supernatural creatures called Wesen.

After Grimm ended, Giuntoli quickly landed a major role on the ABC drama A Million Little Things, where he played Eddie Saville. The series ran for five seasons and significantly raised his profile beyond the supernatural genre.

In addition to acting, Giuntoli has taken on directing work and continues to appear at fan conventions celebrating Grimm’s lasting popularity.

Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette / Eve)

Elizabeth Tulloch (often credited as Bitsie Tulloch) played Juliette Silverton and later the mysterious Eve.

She went on to join the Arrowverse as Lois Lane in Superman & Lois, becoming one of the most recognizable portrayals of the iconic comic-book journalist in recent years.

Fun Grimm trivia: Tulloch married co-star David Giuntoli in real life in 2017, and the couple has a daughter together.

Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe)

Fan-favorite Monroe, the reformed Blutbad with a love for clocks and creature history, was played by Silas Weir Mitchell.

Since Grimm ended, Mitchell has continued appearing in television series and films, often in memorable character roles. His long résumé already included shows like Prison Break before Grimm, and he has remained a steady presence in the industry.

Mitchell also continues to be one of the most popular guests at Grimm fan conventions.

Russell Hornsby (Hank Griffin)

Detective Hank Griffin, Nick’s loyal partner, was played by Russell Hornsby.

Hornsby has been extremely active since Grimm ended. He appeared in several television projects including Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector and later starred in the crime drama BMF.

His career has steadily expanded with leading roles in both television and film.

Sasha Roiz (Captain Sean Renard)

Sasha Roiz played the complex police captain Sean Renard, one of the show’s most morally ambiguous characters.

Roiz has remained active in television, appearing in several series including 9-1-1 and other dramas. He also continues to work in film and voice acting.

Bree Turner (Rosalee Calvert)

Bree Turner played Rosalee, the knowledgeable apothecary who became Monroe’s partner in both business and life.

After Grimm, Turner continued acting while also becoming active in directing and producing projects.

She frequently participates in fan conventions and events celebrating the show.

Claire Coffee (Adalind Schade)

Claire Coffee portrayed Adalind Schade, whose transformation from villain to ally became one of the series’ most memorable arcs.

Coffee has appeared in numerous TV projects since Grimm, including roles in The Lincoln Lawyer and other streaming series.

She is also active in podcasting and fan events.

The Grimm Legacy

Although Grimm ended its six-season run in 2017, the show remains popular with fans discovering it through streaming platforms. Its blend of folklore, detective storytelling, and its distinctive Portland setting helped it stand apart from other supernatural series.

Many fans still visit filming locations around Portland, and the cast continues to reunite occasionally at conventions celebrating the show’s lasting impact.

For a series that introduced audiences to Wesen, Grimms, and a darker side of fairy-tale mythology, the legacy of Grimm clearly lives on.

While nothing official has been announced, talk of a potential Grimm movie or reboot continues to surface from time to time, something longtime fans are still hoping to see.
