The freedom fighter back story this week arrives via DC & St. Louis.

• Washington DC - I think this was Grimm's first foray outside of Oregon... a little intrigue and bad guy antics in our nation's capital. HOWEVER... the scene was actually filmed in Portland! It is said to be filmed right around this general area on Naito Parkway. 

• St. Louis, MO - Short stop in St. Louis, with a view of the Arch from a dirty hotel room where a creature guy is murdered. CGI? Anyone know?

Union Station
There was a lot of action at Portland's Union Station throughout this week's episode. A leader of "the resistance" (Ian) arrives in Portland, at Union Station to be exact, and makes a beeline to Rosalee and The Spice Shop. It turns out, Rosalee's family has been a part of "the resistance" for years, and she and Ian seem to have some kind of creature bond (which Monroe does not appreciate).

 Q: Did the freedom fighter creature take a bus from St. Louis?! (Union Station to Union Station?)

Capt. Renard is kidnapped...from The Encore parking garage (I believe). We first saw Renard's condo in Episode 13.

The Brasserie Montmartre is back!
Making its 2nd appearance in 2 weeks, the Brasserie is getting some serious primetime footage.

Romeo, I mean Nick, & Juliette

Thank you Grimm fans!  Several readers have sent me information on the location of Nick & Juliette's house on Grimm. Some of you have even scouted it out in person.

The house is located in NE Portland's King neighborhood. The current owners purchased the home in February 2011, and they were contacted by Grimm regarding filming shortly thereafter.

Nick & Juliette's relationship has hit a few bumps in recent weeks. Most recently, Nick failed to get a "yes" to his proposal in Episode 16.

Recalling the story of Romeo & Juliet: "Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written early in the career of playwright William Shakespeare about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately unite their feuding families."
